Have you forgotten that thing you worked hard for—and achieved?
Today I invite you to remember your accomplishments—be they celebrated goals achieved in public, or quiet personal triumphs known only to you and God.
Today Daniel graduated—he worked very hard to reach this milestone and I cried more than once—beginning with the first notes of Elger’s Pomp and Circumstance (March number 1 that is typically used for graduations in the United States).
Here it is—close your eyes, listen in, and relish your accomplishments. May you feel the joy and triumph of how far you’ve come. May you rest right where you are, and may your rest be sweet.
Alicia
P.S. We left Lebanon the night before the latests conflict in the region and are so grateful to have been able to be at Daniel’s graduation.

I always cry during Pomp and Circumstance, too.
