Something we are told repeatedly as myofascial release therapists is “you have to feel it to heal it.” Bracing against pain and recoiling from discomfort can halt the healing process and create other problems.
There is a time for everything, and if we are still— in tune to our bodies— if we are still and know that God is God, we will know the next step. And we will find the courage to take it.
If you are finding it hard to rest right now, may you have courage and comfort to go through to the rest that is on the other side – surely your rest will be sweet.
